Katsina State Institute of Technology and Management has commenced Part-Time NID Programs for 2020/2021 academic session in four (4) courses.

According to the institution, admission into the programmes does not require any JAMB examination.

Below is the announcement of the programmes from the institution:

This is to inform the General Public that the Katsina State Institute of Technology and Management has commenced Part-Time NID Programs for 2020/2021 academic session in the following courses:

National Innovation Diploma in Banking Operations.

Five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in not more than two sittings in either WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or any of their equivalent.

The credit passes should include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two (2) of the following: Commerce, Principles of Accounting, Business Methods, Government, Office Practice, Geography, Statistics, Typewriting, or Shorthand.

National Innovation Diploma in Computer Software Engineering.

Five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in not more than two sittings in either WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or any of their equivalent.

The subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any other (2) subjects from the following: Chemistry, Geography, Biology/Agricultural Science, Further Mathematics, Computer Studies, Technical Drawings, or Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity.

National Innovation Diploma in Multimedia Technology.

Five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in not more than two sittings in either WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or any of their equivalent.

The subjects must include: Mathematics, English and any other three (3) from the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science/Animal Husbandry, Technical Drawing, Computer Studies/ICT, Economics, History/Civic Education, Literature in English, Geography, Government, Commerce, Principles of Accounting, Marketing, Fine Art, Hausa, or Islamic Studies.

National Innovation Diploma in Networking and System Security.

Five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in not more than two sittings in either WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or any of their equivalent.

The subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any other two (2) subjects from the following: Chemistry, Geography, Biology/Agricultural Science, Further Mathematics, Computer Studies, Technical Drawings, or Basic Electronics/Basic Electricity.

Application Procedure

Interested applicants are to visit JAMB office for JAMB Part-Time Registration at the cost of N4,200 (Part-Time registration and processing charges)

Having registered with the JAMB, prospective candidates are required to make a non –refundable payment of N5,300.00 (Five thousand, three hundred Naira) only for screening exercise directly into the following Bank Account:

After payment, prospective students are to visit the Institute portal https://www.applicants.ksitm.net to apply and printout their application form for screening exercise.
