DAY 2 OF THE PROGRAMME OF CASH SUPPORT AND EMPOWERMENT FOR THE VICTIMS OF BANDITRY IN SAFANA, BATSARI DANMUSA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY:
Today is Wednesday the Cash support Programme of Hon. Ahmed Dayyabu Safana has continued in the Safana LG secretariat.
Recalled that the programme was inaugurated yesterday in Safana, at Yariman Katsina palace by Hon. Ahmed Dayyabu, and the Officials of Institute for peace and conflict resolution agency.
Since yesterday, all District Heads, Village Heads and Imams of Jumu’ah mosques have started collecting their share, as officially announced.
While addressing the participants, Hon. Ahmed Dayyabu stated that; “this Programme is aimed at supporting and empowering People with 60 million cash to help them mitigate the suffering caused by banditry and insecurity in this Constituency” He narrated how he secures the money from the federal government through budget inclusion in national Assembly.
In his remark, the Director Research and Planning Mr Gebril Jia stated that” Institute for peace and conflict resolution visited this Constituency to advocate and campaign for peace” He mentioned some of the top duties of their agency and said, they are ready to help Nigerian communities in conflict resolution and advocacy of peace.
There was also a special paper presentation delivered by DDrMamman from IPCR, where attitudinal change and home upbringing issues were discussed.
Hashiya Mohammed Batsari is among the women participants, she commented on the paper. She appreciates the programme and delivers a vote of thanks to Honourable Ahmed Dayyabu, and the officials of IPCR.
She also decried on what happened yesterday in Batsari LG were she solicits for government at all levels to increase their support and efforts for security and peace to reign in Batsari LG and the entire Constituency.
She commended Hon. Ahmed Dayyabu’s effort toward addressing security challenges in the area.
She, however, cautioned parents, especially women to be serious in child upbringing, and take proper care of their children, ranging from home to school, and their community engagement.
She concluded that the mother’s impact on the child attitude is unmeasurable.
All the remaining three commentators have appreciated the gesture and pray for Allah’s reward to the Hon. Ahmed Dayyabu.
