Emir of Daura appoint Musa Haro, district head of newly created Dumurkol
The Emir of Daura, His Royal Highness Alhaji Umar Faruk Umar has approved the appointment of Alhaji Musa Haro as the district head of the newly created Dumurkol district.
Alhaji Musa Haro, a poster son to President Muhammadu Buhari in currently the Danmadamin Daura.
This is contained in a letter addressed to the appointee dated 30th of July, 2021 and seen by Katsina Post.
According to the letter, the date of his turbanning and presentation to the communities of the newly created District will be communicated to him in due course.
The letter reads in part: “I am directed by His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr. Umar Faruk Umar, CON, Emir of Daura to inform you that, your appointment as the District Head of newly created Dumurkol District has been approved with effect from 1 August, 2021.
“This is sequel to atsina State Government’s letter Ref. No. S/SGKT/77/S.3/T.21 dated, 30th July, 2021 in response to our letter of recommendation for your appointment Ref. No. EC/DRA/GEN/1/Vol.11/T dated 28th July, 2021.
“The date of your turbanning and presentation to the communities of the newly created District will be communicated to you.”
The letter also listed the towns and villages that fall under the newly created district.
Recall that earlier last week, the Katsina State House of Assembly approved the creation of the additional district head.
Katsina Post learnt that the new district was caved out of Koza district.
