The Project “Human Rights and Civic Engagement for Youth” is aimed at leaders of youth organizations dedicated to the positive and responsible promotion of public awareness and advocacy on the subject of human rights and civic participation.
Speaking, an elated Bello said, through this program, I will get to learn from people of diverse cultures and see how civic engagement is done in the USA and this will help me improve my activities when I get back home. It will also give me a professional boost, as well as introduce me to a wider pool of civic leaders working on human rights, democracy, and governance which would give me sufficient knowledge to add to my work.
