FMC Katsina Spends N15m Monthly On Electricity
Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Katsina has said it spends over N15 million monthly on electricity supply to the hospital, Leadership reports.
Chairperson, board of governing council of the hospital, Hajiya Hannatu Akilu, disclosed this while remarking at the commissioning of the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and treatment centre in Katsina, she identified the huge amount spent monthly on electricity as major challenge affecting the growth of the institution.
Akilu, who spoke through Mr Daniel Dalyop, explained further that the issue was not peculiar to Katsina but all federal institutions across the country were facing same challenge, called for urgent steps to address the issue of power.
She said, “FMC Katsina pays more than N15 million monthly on electricity supply.”
