Qatar Foundation to build multimillion Naira mega mosque, Islamic school in Daura
A foreign non-governmental organization, Qatar Charity Foundation is going to build a multimillion Naira mosque and an Islamiya school in Daura Local Government Area of Katsina State.
This was disclosed by the representative of the foundation, Sheikh Hamdi Al-sayed during a Land Transfer of Ownership ceremony today in Daura.
According to Sheikh Hamdi Al-sayed, other projects to be executed by the foundation include 25 daily prayers mosques and 150 boreholes across the five (5) Local Government Areas of Daura emirate.
Katsina Post learnt that the land on which the mosque and Islamiya school projects will be executed was donated by the Magajin Garin Daura, Alhaji Musa Umar and it is located along Zangon Daura road.
Other dignitaries who graced the occasion include His Royal Highness, the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Faruk Umar, Magajin Garin Daura, Alhaji Musa Umar and the Katsina State Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Barrister Ahmad El-Marzuq.
