“My people at the battle field are not happy you” – Gov Masari told new Service Chiefs
Governor Aminu Bello Masari receives the new Service Chiefs led by the Chief of Defense Staff General Leo Irabor at the General Muhammadu Buhari House.
They were in Katsina on a working visit to asses the performance of troops at the frontline in the fight against banditry and associated vices.
The Governor informed them that our people at the theater of this fight are not so much happy with the performance of the Security agencies stressing that “if they are not happy we are not happy as well”.
He however advised that the operational command should be centralized in such a way that offensives against the bandits could hold simultaneously from all fronts (states’ borders with the notorious forest), otherwise the problem will continue to linger with the attendant loss of lives and property, the dignity of the Security agencies and the Nigerian state will also be blemished.
Governor Masari reaffirmed the commitment of the State Government to sustain its support in this fight to secure the lives and property of our people.
