Katsina assembly moves to prohibit use of vulgar words by medicine sellers in public
The Katsina State Assembly has began the deliberation on a bill for a law to prohibit the use of inducement and vulgar languages in the advertisement of products in public places and for connected matters across the state.
This was part of the Resolutions met during the Plenary of the House presided over by the Speaker, Alhaji Tasi’u Musa Maigari.
The bill, sponsored by Member Representing Katsina Local Government, Alhaji Aliyu Abubakar Albaba has already scaled first reading on the floor of the House.
During the Sitting, Four other Executive Bills regarding the Grazing Reserve and Veterinary Institutions have passed the First Reading.
The Speaker, Alhaji Tasi’u Musa Maigari announced the resolution of the House after the Clerk read the letter during the Sitting.
Meanwhile, the House has called on the Executive Arm for the Electrification of FASADA-GAMZOKA and DAN-DANGI VILLAGES of Dabawa Ward of Dutsinma Local Government.
This followed the adoption of a motion filed by Member Representing Dutsinma Constituency, Alhaji Muhammad Abubakar Hamis.
Defending the motion, the Lawmaker said people of the areas have been aspiring for the Project long time ago to boost their economic activities.
