HUK Polytechnic set to begin 5 new courses
The Rector of the Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic, HUK, Dr. Mudi Kurfi has commended the Katsina State Governor, Rt Hon Aminu Bello Masari over his approval to the management to replace retired staff of the institution recently.
Dr Kurfi said this during an interactive session with the accreditation team from the National Board of Technical Education NBTE, who were in the school for accreditation of new courses.
Katsina Post learnt that the team were in the Polytechnic to accreditation of five new courses as requested by the institution.
The programs include Higher National Diploma (HND) in Architectural Technology, HND in Animal Technology, HND in Library and Information Science, HND in Welding and Fabrication as well as National Diploma in Banking and Finance.
Speaking during the interactive session, Dr Kurfi also commended the Katsina State Governor for his support to the institution towards the success of the accreditation exercise.
The accreditation team leader, Engr Abba Danmowa expressed his satisfaction with the reception accorded to them and also said he is impressed with the quality and the standards of the education being offered to the students of the institution.
