The Federal Government through the Universal Basic Education Commission, UBEC, is currently constructing a state-of-the-art structures including E-Library, reception, Examination Hall, Laboratory, Toilets and Corpers Lodge at the Dumurkol Primary School, Daura.

Katsina Post learnt Dumurkol is the ancestral Fulani Village of Muhammadu Buhari located few kilometers north of Daura town along Mai’adua road.

The UBEC Executive Secretary, Dr. Hameed Bobboye visited the school today as part of his working visit to the state.

While at Dumurkol Primary School, the UBEC Executive Secretary inspected the on-going construction of E-Library, reception, Examination Hall, Laboratory, Toilets and Corpers Lodge.

Dr. Hameed Bobboye charged the contracting firm not to relent effort in ensuring the completion of the project in time.

Earlier, Katsina Post learnt that Dr. Bobboye visited the North-West Model School Project in Daura which consists of Pre-primary, Primary and Junior Secondary Sections as well as a section for children with special needs.

During the visit, the UBEC Executive Secretary in Company of the SUBEB Chairman Alhaji Lawal Buhari Daura and other Officials was conducted round the project by the site Engineer Alhaji Usman Muntari Zango.

Dr. Hameed Bobboye said the project was aimed at ensuring that every school aged child is not denied of his right to basic education.

He expressed appreciation over the level and quality of work so far executed and called on the contractor handling the project to ensure its timely completion.
