Katsina State Universal Basic Education Board “SUBEB” in collaboration with the Universal Basic Education Commission “UBEC” has so far Trained Two Thousand Five Hundred and Seventy Three Personnel this academic session, KTTV reports.
The Training was conducted under the Teacher Professional Development Programme in the State.
The Executive Chairman of the Board, Alhaji Lawal Buhari Daura disclosed this after monitoring the conduct of the Training at various Centers across the State.
He further stated that the Training which began on the Fifth of this Month include One Hundred and Fifteen Headmasters, Two Thousand Two Hundred and Ninety Eight Teachers and One Hundred and Sixty School Support Officers.
According to him, the Training was aimed at developing the capacity and improved efficiency to School Children in the State.
He re-stated the commitment of the State Government towards improving the standard of Education in the State.
The Chairman of the Board appealed to the Participants to step it down to their Counterparts with a view to ensuring greater changes in the outputs of the Pupils.
He also expressed gratitude to the State Government for giving all the necessary support for the development of Education in the State.
