The leadership of the Concern Citizens Katsina State has commiserated with parents, guardians and government of Katsina state, over the heinous abduction of students at Government science secondary school Kankara.

This is contained in a statement signed by the group’s Chairman, Comrade Amb. Muhammad Nuhu Nagaske and sent to Katsina Post.

The letter reads in part: “I wish to commiserate and sympathize with parents, guardians and government of Katsina state, over the heinous abduction of students at Government science secondary school Kankara, I implore on all relevant authorities to be fully committed and left no stone unturned until this innocent students are free and rejoin their families.

“Education is a cardinal aspect of our lives, posing a threat to it is a serious threat to our survival, therefore, its hope that measures are to be taken for a conducive atmosphere for our society.

“The insecurity bedeviling Katsina state and its environs is worrisome, its growing wings by the day, we’ll remain relentless in calling the attention of government the dangers at hand, safeguarding lives is of the utmost responsibility of government.

“From our part as Concern Citizens of Katsina state, we are advising when the government consider the now opening closed schools, it should also give them enough security to protect them from any further threat of insecurity.

“I pray for everlasting peace, prosperity and wellbeing to my dear state and Nigeria entirely.”
