… Call on Katsina aggrieved PDP members to forgive, forget
The Katsina State immediate ex-Governor Ibrahim Shehu Shema and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP leader in the state has call on Katsina aggrieved PDP members to forgive and forget all the wrong doings mated on them by the party.
Shema made this plead during the inauguration of the state’s party elders and caucus committees at the party’s secretariat on Sunday.
According to him, all hands need to be on deck to salvage the state and the country at large from the current situation of insecurity, poverty and other social vices.
“Last week, a six-member committee was inaugurated by the National leadership of the PDP to reconcile aggrieved members led by Senator Bukola Saraki and I happened to be a member.
“So let me use this opportunity to begin the reconciliation process in my state and call on all aggrieved members to – in the name of Almighty Allah forgive and forget about the past.
“We need everybody in the PDP and even beyond to salvage the state and the country from the current clutches of social distortion”, he said.
Katsina Post learned that a group of aggrieved PDP members called ‘PDP A Gyara’ exist in the state with members largely not happy with how the party is being managed.
The group are particularly not happy with the party’s choice of its gubernatorial candidate in the 2019 general election and congresses conducted which were marred with allegations of injustice and irregularities.
