Mahdi VS Katsina gov’t: Court case continues, adjourned to Dec 8th
The court case filed by the Katsina State government against Alhaji Mahdi Shehu, a Kaduna-based Katsina-born business mogul and activist before a Katsina State Magistrate Court continued on Monday, 16th November, 2020 Katsina Post learned.
Recall that the Katsina State government is accusing Mahdi Shehu of forgery and inciting public disturbance against the state government.
During the court sitting, the Katsina State government lawyer, Barista Anest Obadineke presented a 16-pages document to the court claiming that the court has jurisdiction to entertain the case before it against the claim by the defendant lawyer, Barista Anjob.
After the debate, the presiding Judge, Justice Abdu Ladan adjourned the case to December 8th, 2020 for him to deliver judgment.
