Help Us: UMYUK Unemployed 1st Class Graduates Write to Gov Masari

October 20, 2020 · Education

A group of first-class graduates from Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYUK) have written an open letter to Governor Masari appealing for employment. Despite their academic achievements, they lament prolonged joblessness and limited opportunities in both public and private sectors. They urged the state to create special recruitment programs or support schemes for high-achieving graduates. Civil society groups echoed the call, saying educated youths should not be left idle when their talents could contribute to governance, teaching, and innovation.
