Police arrest bandits’ collaborator in Katsina community
One Saidu Musa, 45, of Gobirawa village, Safana Local Government Area of the state, has been remanded in police custody till October 22, 2020, by the Katsina Senior Magistrates’ court.
Musa was alleged to have conspired with some bandits, who are now at large, to kill a 60-year-old man, Ayuba Yahusa, of the same village on May 15, 2020.
The suspect is facing charges of criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide.
According to the police, the offences are contrary to sections 58 and 189 of the Penal Code of Katsina State, 2019.
The police prosecutor, ASP Sani Ado, told the court that investigation was still in progress on the case and Dikko adjourned the matter till October 22, 2020, for mention.
The presiding magistrate, Hajiya Fadila Dikko, ordered that Musa should be remanded in police custody till then.
