The National Associations of Katsina state Medical students (NAKAMS) has on Monday offers free medical services to over 2000 patients in Katsina.
Katsina Post reports that the exercise was hold at Primary Health Centers (PHCs) Kofar Kaura in Katsina and PHC Rimi local government.
At the centers, women, children with several ailments were offered with free medications, laboratory tests, and diagnostics.
Earlier, the NAKAMS National President, Comrade Nuraddeen Sani Waziri, said the exercise would help to assist vulnerable people who can hardly afford the cost of the treatment.
“The medical outreach is free; it is an assistance to patients suffering from various ailments who can hardly afford the cost of the treatment.
“Over 2000 patients will benefit from the medical services that is currently holding in PHC Kofar Kaura Katsina and PHC Rimi Local Government”.
“We commend Gov. Aminu Bello Masari for supporting the Association, and bringing quality healthcare services at the doorsteps of the less privileged people in the state,” she said.
