Katsina gov’t partners NNPC on Rural, Economic revitalization Programme
Katsina state government has on Friday partnered with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) on Rural Infrastructure and Economic Revitalization Programme (KARIER).
Governor Masari who was represented by the Commissioner for Rural Development, Mustapha Mahmud Kanti at the meeting with the NNPC management seeks the support of the Corporation for KARIER programme through their Corporate Social Responsibilities.
While speaking, Kanti assured that the programme would help to support, provide better opportunities to teeming youths while tackling social problems in the state.
“We are hopeful that all hands will be on deck to help and support the State in providing opportunities to our youth and to tackle the social problems in our society.” He added.
The Group Managing Director NNPC, Represented by the Chief Operating Officer Corporate Service, Malam Muhammed Abdulkadir Ahmed assured Governor Masari of their ultimate commitments to ensure the success of the programme.
Recalled that Governor Aminu Masari had recently inugurated KARIER Programme under chairman of the Commissioner for Rural Development.
