Katsina gov’t begins massive vaccination campaign against measles
The Katsina State Primary Health Care Development Agency has perfected plans for the smooth conduct of massive vaccination campaign against measles across the state.
The four-day campaign will begin on Wednesday, 22nd July and end on Saturday, 25th July, 2020.
Parents and guardians are called upon to take their children and wards of between 9 months to 5 years to the nearest vacation post to receive the vaccine.
Measles is a viral infection that starts in the respiratory system.
It still remains a significant cause of death worldwide, despite the availability of a safe, effective vaccine.
