Breaking: Katsina gov’t confirm 2 Lassa fever cases, 1 dead
Katsina State Government ministry has said that that it has confirmed two cases of lassa fever in the State.
This was disclosed to newsmen by executive secretary state primary health care agency, Dr. Shamsudden Yahaya today during a press briefing at his office.
According to him Katsina State recorded seven suspected cases so far in which four samples turned out to be negative, two positive results and the result of one sample is still pending.
One of the positive samples is a three-month pregnant woman of Kwarin Yashe Village of Kusada local government who died yesterday night and the second one woman confirmed positive and Undergoing treatment in Kankia General hospital.
