Shema constructed single 100km road without noise – Katsina PDP mock Masari
The leading opposition party in Katsina State – the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has mocked the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) government led by Governor Aminu Bello Masari over the recent commissioning of a total of 92km roads by President Muhammadu Buhari saying that it is ‘overhyped’.
While speaking with Katsina Post, the party chairman in the state, Hon. Salisu Yusuf Majigiri said the former administration of the state under ex-Governor Shema inaugurated a 100-kilometer road without fanfare.
“You cannot compare Masari’s tenure with Shema’s. The former even commissioned the 100-km Marshi-Mai Adua road without fanfare or ceremony, but here we are commissioning just 32-km with a presidential attendance”
“The truth is the current administration is full of deception. If not, why will the Government that says is prioritizing education since its inception will lack a single project in the education sector worthy of commissioning in the whole state by the President?” He asked rhetorically.
Majigiri also criticized the governor for lack of pace, adding that he was not ready for governance considering the fact that he was yet to appoint his commissioners and Chief of staff.
