The Katsina State Governor, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari has returned after spending days in India on an official visit.
The Governor who arrived the Ummaru Musa ‘Yar’adua International Airport this evening was received by some top government officials including the Secretary to the Government of the State, Alhaji Mustapha Inuwa, Special Assistant on Restoration, Alhaji Sabo Musa among others.
Recall that we reported to you on the 19th of July that the Governor traveled out of the country to India for an official visit.
The Governor was accompanied by a list of aides and some government officials including the state’s Honourable Commissioner of Justice, Ahmad El-marzuq.
According to a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media, Abdulhadi Ahmad Bawa, the Governor visited India on an invitation by Simba Group of Companies.
During his visit, the Governor signed a memoradum of understanding with the Simba Group of Companies and was conferred with the Global Leadership Award in Politics and Good Governance by the Alakh Prakash Goyal University.
