Katsina gov’t partners Muslim Youths NGO to offers free eye surgery in Katsina
Katsina State Government in Collaboration with World Assembly of Muslim Youths has organized free eye care services and cataract surgery across the three senatorial zones of the state.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the state ministry of health Abubakar Yaro Bindawa and made available to newsmen in Katsina.
The statement said the exercise would hold from Monday 10th June to Sturday 22nd June 2019 at the Katsina Eye Center.
The statement quoted the Permanent Secretary of the State Ministry of Health Dr Kabir Mustapha as saying that the exercise would be conducted free of charge to assist patients suffering from cataract and other eye related ailments in the three senatorial zones of the state.
The Permanent Secretary said the exercise would begin with screening of patients in Funtua Zone from Monday 10th to Thursday 13th June, followed by Daura Zone from Saturday 15th to Sunday 16th, while Katsina Zone would be conducted from Monday18th to Friday 21st June 2019 at the Katsina Eye Center.
