Breaking: Police Arrest, To Parade Kidnapper of Masari’s Mother In-law
Two months after the mother in-law of Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State, Hajiya Maistiyari, regained freedom, first suspect in connection with her abduction has been apprehended, LEADERSHIP reports.
The spokesman of the state police command, Isah Gambo, a Superintendent of Police (SP), who confirmed this yesterday in a terse statement in Katsina, said the suspect nabbed with arms and ammunition would be paraded today, Wednesday, 15th May, 2019, at the police command headquarters.
Recall that Masari’s 80 year old mum in-law was released by her abductors around 4pm on Thursday, 14th March, 2019, in katsina afte one week in captivity.
The octogenarian mother of Hajiya Binta Aminu Masari was freed hale and hearty and reunited with her family by the police after necessary medical checkups.
Investigation revealed that the elderly woman was kidnapped by hood wearing gunmen, who stormed her residence at No. 13 Dandume Crescent in Sabon Garin quarters of Katsina metropolis on motorcycles around 3am on the fateful day and whisked her away after manhandling some people in the house.
