The Federal Medical Center Katsina has revealed it plan of recruiting 100 staff to address the shortage of workforce in the hospital.
This followed by approval letter sent to the hospital from the office of the Head of Civil Service of the federation as seen by our correspondent.
According to the approval letter, the center will recruit 8 consultants, 20 Medical Officers, 8 Pharmacists, 2 store officers, 40 Nurse officers, 2 social welfare officers and 20 Medical record officers.
The statement however revealed that the approval is based on the 2018 Provisional Establishment of the hospital, which covers the proposed recruitment.
