The Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Bello masari, today added another feat to his Administration’s achievements in the education sector with the commissioning of state of the art ICT INNOVATION hub at the temporary site of Katsina state Institute of Computer Technology and Management.

Governor Masari who was ably represented by Secretary to the Government of the state Dr Mustapha Inuwa to the august occasion to commission a first state of the art ICT innovation Hub for the North West Zone reiterated his Administration’s commitments in ensuring that it continue giving the sector the necessary attention needed in order to address the challenges of Unemployment bedevilling Katsina state.
In his speech , he pledge to continue partnering with NITDA in developing ICT in Katsina state.

In his speech The Director General National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) Sheikh Dr Isah A. Pantami commended Katsina state for providing a permanent site for the institution. Adding that is the first centre to be established in the whole north west region. He added further that ICT is now a getway to financial prosperity, And for the Country to develop economically through diversification from long dependence on oil, there must be fundamental change in our thinking and how seriously we embrace the ICT world.

On his part the Rector of the Institution Dr Babangida Albaba thanked the state Government for its effort and commitment in ensuring that the institution is not left behind. He highlighted Masari Administration’s employment of staffs and completion of the institutions permanent site as one of the positives of this administration.
