The Katsina state Governor, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari has received three groups that decamped to All Progressive Congress-APC in Funtua.
The groups that decamped include Funtua Modern singers for Tata, Yan tundira group for Tata and Dawo Dawo group.
Receiving the decamped groups, Governor Masari expressed happiness with members of the groups for pitching tent with APC in the state.
Alhaji Aminu Masari particularly requested the modern singers to utilize their talents to educate people on the good programmes of the APC led administration in the state.
He assured Yantindira that they would be made to play an active role in the forth electioneering campaign of APC in the state.
He showed appreciation to special Adviser on economic empowerment, Alhaji Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir for facilitating the decamping of the groups.
Earlier, one Dr Yusuf Lawal Funtua told Governor Masari that the groups decided to join forces with the APC administration because of the numerous people’s oriented projects in the state.
On his part, the leader of the Funtua Modern singers group assured that they would work assiduously to ensure victory for APC in 2019 general elections.
Also speaking, the leader of Yantindira group, Hanafi Abdullahi said he and other DJs were working for Tata but decided to decamp to contribute towards the success of the re-election bid of Governor Masari in 2019.
Also speaking, the Dawo dawo group chairman, Nasir Abdullahi expressed the resolve of his group to join hands with Governor Masari for the emancipation of youth in the state.
