Absenteeism: Katsina gov’t takes disciplinary actions against NPower beneficiaries
The Katsina State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) says it will collaborate with the National Orientation Agency (NOA) in tackling absenteeism by some of the N-Power beneficiaries deployed to schools across the state.
The executive chairman of the board, Alhaji Lawal Buhari Daura disclosed this when he paid an unscheduled visit to some primary schools in Katsina, and Kaita local government areas.
According to him, the attitude exhibited by some of the beneficiaries concerning their teaching responsibilities is alarming, therefore, hence the need for the government to take disciplinary actions against them.
He called on the beneficiaries to redouble efforts toward achieving the programme set objectives in the state.
