The governing council of the Federal University Dutsin-ma (FUDMA) has solicited the support of the Katsina state government toward accreditation of the university’s courses.
The chairman of the governing council Dr. Maridiya Zayyana made the plea when she led the members of the governing council and the management of the institution on a courtesy call to the secretary to Katsina state government Dr. Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa.
Dr. Maridiya said, “Out of the 23 courses grant by the university only 3 courses were accredited by the Universities Commission (NUC).
She called on the state government to allow the institution take over Shongai farm in Dutsin-ma which according her will enable the university creates more employment opportunities for the host communities.

Responding, the Secretary of the state Dr. Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa assured them of government support and cooperation to enable the university attain set objectives.
