Katsina government has distributed Islamic books worth N3million to new convert to Islam across the state.
Governor Masari disclosed this while launching the distribution of the books at an occasion held at Kafur Local Government Area.
The governor was represented by the Commissioner of religious affairs Alhaji Tanimu Audi Bindawa explained that the 2000 Islamic Books copies comprises of the holy Qur’an, Hadiths and Islamic jurisprudence.
Masari reaffirmed the commitment of his administration in propagating the religion of Islam.
He said the books were propagated to enable the new convert acquire more Islamic knowledge.
The governor urged the Da’awa to continue enlightening the new convert on the importance of seeking Islamic knowledge.
In his speech, the head of Local government administration Kafur Local government Alhaji Hamza Umar expressed appreciation to the state governor for the gesture and assured Local Government Support.
