The Katsina state Executive Council fifth regular meeting has approved for 18 civil servants to obtain higher education . The Head of Service, Alhaji Garba Sanda Mani announced this at the end of the meeting which was presided over by Governor Aminu Bello Masari at Government House council chambers, Katsina.
Alhaji Garba Sanda explained that the 18 civil servants would undergo higher degrees in both Nigeria and abroad, adding that some of them would attend studies in Uganda and India among others. The Head of Service said the decision was in line with the APC administration resolve to train and retrain civil servants for greater efficiency.
He revealed that this was not the first time the present administration was sponsoring civil servants to attain such higher education, adding that the process had been on since the inception of Governor Masari led administration.
