The emir of Daura Alhaji Umar Faruk Umar has called on Nigerians to continue to support federal government policies and programs for a better Nigeria. The emir made the call yesterday in Daura at the turbaning ceremony of four additional traditional tittle holders.
According to the emir, the additional title holders will assist in running the affairs of his domain.
According to him the emergence of president Buhari had saved the country from eminence collapse and disintegration due to insurgency and other challenges facing the nation then. The royal father cautioned Nigerians against inciting comments. He added that without peaceful coexistence and mutual understanding, the Nigeria’s phase for development may not be possible.
The four appointees are Alhaji Usman Ibrahim as the information officer of Daura emirate, Alhaji Abdullahi Rabe as San-turakin Daura, Alhaji Nasiru Abdullahi as Dangunduman Daura and Sabiu Isah as Chika-soron Daura. The emir however charged the newly appointees to be fair while discharging their duties.
The emir of Katsina Alhaji Abdulmuminu Kabri Usman urged the Dikko foundation to ensure existence of cordial relationship among people of the state.
The emir made the call while commissioning the banquet hall of the Dikko foundation at the emirate council yesterday evening.
