I will restore payment of WAEC and NECO if elected as Governor – Tata

The popular politician and philanthropist and also the Katsina state’s gubernatorial candidate in the 2015 elections Alhaji Umar Abdullahi Tsauri popularly known as Tata said that he will definitely restore the payment of WAEC and NECO to the Katsina State secondary school students if elected as the state Governor in 2019.

Tata made this known in a lengthy article he wrote and posted on his facebook account time line.

Tata stated that “When I become your Governor inshaa Allah I will:

Restore free NECO and WAEC for every son and daughter of Katsina state.

Maintain the current qualification exam, not for the purpose of WAEC and NECO, which are a necessity not a luxury, but for US-SAT, UK-IELTS and TOEFL so that my Katsina children will have the same opportunity to travel out and study in US, UK, Europe and anywhere in the world!”

He then said: “Take a census of the number of dropouts under the APC regime to see how we could instalmentally support them to graduate to the last person.

The future of our children should not be tied to Naira and Kobo nor measured in terms of what is convenient but rather as a fatherly duty and responsibility hinged on love and togetherness. Katsina has money that can pay for the future of our kids if only those you chose have you at heart!”

He also said: “While those that you chose are silent. While those for whom you chose APC have taken flight, while those for whose heavy sermon you were misled, are still intent in misleading you, I, Umar Tata, that you rejected to satisfy them will not leave you nor abandon you to your fate.”

He then concluded by a promise that: “This is a promise I make for my people and it is a pledge to which I will not fail inshaa Allah.

Katsina will rebound and our children will rediscover their lost hope! So help me Gid. Amen!”
