News reaching us now has it that Katsina State’s high court has granted Shema bail on ‘self recognition’ after fulfilling all the bail conditions earlier on stated by the judge.
The judge also adjourned the case till 28th of March, 2017.
Katsina Post has earlier on reported that there was uncertainty in the Shema and PDP camp as court demand N4bn from the Katsina ex-Governor Ibrahim Shema and three (3) others that are currently facing charges of public fund mismanagement filed by EFCC at the State High Court in Katsina.
Katsina Post is on ground to keep you up to date with all the happenings in the Katsina State High Court as the court continues the hearing of the case between EFCC and Katsina State’s ex-Governor Ibrahim Shehu Shema.
It could be recalled that the judge presiding over the case adjourned it to today.
It could also be recalled that a mild drama ensued the last time he was in the court premises when EFCC wanted to apprehend Shema and force him into their vehicle after court hearing. This according to our multiple sources was abortive as Shema and his supporters resisted their move.
It was later on that Shema was whisked and sneaked out of the court premises by his supporters.
