Katsina 2017 Budget: Alert! Masari proposes N50million for the ‘renovation’ of Grand Khadi’s house
Katsina State Sharia court of Appeal is to spend N160million on capital project in the 2017 fiscal year.
This was revealed by the Katsina state’s chief registrar of the Katsina state Sharia court of Appeal. He stated that N50million is to be use in the renovation of the house of the state’s Grand Khadi while the purchase of exotic vehicles for the (3) three state’s Khadis and generators will gulp N60million and N12million respectively.
Also before the Katsina state House of assembly was the Chief registrar of the state high court Justice Kabir Shu’aibu who depended the court’s capital allocation of N370million. Justice Kabir further stated that N75million was set aside for purchase of vehicles while the construction of a new magistrate court will gulp N60million so also the construction of official residence for High court judges will gulp N40million.
In a related development, Hearing has commenced at Katsina State High court 10 over the case of an armed robbery involving one Ibrahim Muhammad popularly known as ‘Teacher’ who was accused to have brutally attacked his friend who goes by the name Ibrahim Sule Mai yawo.
The prosecution council Safiya Umar from the state’s ministry of justice presented three (3) witness to the court including the victim Alhaji Ibrahim Sule Maiyawo who narrated how on the 10th of February, 2016, the accused tricked him to a farmland along Katsina Ring Road before he severally and brutally stabbed him with knife on his chest.
Also, according to Alhaji Ibrahim the accused person -Ibrahim Teacher later on stole his car Toyota Camry and left him in a pool of his blood before a team of police on patrol came to his rescue.
The case was then adjourned to 10th of February, 2017.
