Katsina State received drugs and other hospital equipments worth N96million from the Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Program (MNCH2).
According to the NGO, the donation was done in order to complement government efforts towards improving the health sector.
In his remark, the permanent secretary State Ministry of Health Dr. Kabir Mustapha expresses government happiness to the donor agencies.
Also, the MNCH-2 team leader Dr Salma Kolo is expected to hand over the donation to the state government.
In his remark, the Katsina State Governor Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari stressed on the important of training of health personnel management on management of health facilities.
Earlier, the State Commissioner of health Hajiya Mariyatu Bala Usman stated that more than 200 primary and secondary health institutions will benefit from the donation.
