The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria allocated a total of 4564 hajj seats to Katsina State for the upcomming hajj exercise.
The Executive Secretary of the Katsina State pilgrims welfare board Alhaji Muhammad Abu Rimi disclosed this during a stakeholders meeting in Katsina. He then pointed out that the Katsina State governments is ready to give all the necessary support towards the successful conduct of the upcoming exercise.
In his remark, the chairman of the state hajj committee Alhaji Salisu Ado Shinkafi said the previous hajj exercise had recorded success.
He also expressed his optimism that this years hajj exercise will also recorded success even morethan the last year’s. He also expressed happiness over the turn out of the commissions personnels at the meeting.
Other stakeholders at the meeting includes representative of Nigeria Customs, Police and representatives of some airline carriers.
