Lagos and Katsina are to host 2 National Badminton Championships in November, the Badminton Federation of Nigeria (BFN) declared in Lagos on Wednesday. Katsina gov’t constructs pit latrines in 110 primary schools across the state

Buhari approves N236m for Sabke dam irrigation project in Katsina

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Wednesday approved N236 million for the completion of Sabke Irrigation Dam in Katsina State. Addressing state house correspondents after the council’s weekly meeting in Abuja, Suleiman Adamu, minister of water resources, said the contract for the dam was initially awarded in 1997. Over 600 LG staff dragged Masari to court over non-payment of salaries

About 610 staff drawn from 34 local government areas of Katsina state have sued the state government to the National Industrial Court sitting in Kano over nonpayment of salaries for 19 months.
