Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore disowns Nation Secretary Over comments on Gov Masari
The Katsina chapter of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, a socio-cultural group of the Fulani ethnicity has dissociated itself from some derogatory comments attributed to its National Secretary on the person of Governor of Katsina State, Rt Hon Aminu Masari.
Recall that few days ago, one Sale Alhassan, the National Secretary of the Fulani socio-cultural group granted interview with online tabloid, Sahara Reporters, where he responded to Governor Masari’s position, during an interview with Channels TV, that majority of bandits are of Fulani ethnic group.
However, in a press conference on Friday morning in Katsina, the Chairman, Katsina state chapter of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore Malam Hassan Kuraye said the comment of Mr Alhassan can best be describe as an act of indiscipline.
on Friday has distant the chapter of the Union from the statement issued by it National Secretary on Katsina state governor.
The Chairman also commended the Katsina State Governor whom he described as a Fulani himself and a good friend to the Fulani ethic group and for what his government has been doing to them.
He also stated that Katsina State government has a good cordial relation with the Union.
Mr Kuraye also said he has it on good authority that even the National Leadership of their group has distanced themselves from the comment of the National Secretary.
