Governor Aminu Bello Masari has observed that the manner in which the All Progressives Congress conducted it’s Local Government congresses proves the unity and fraternity in the party.
Alhaji Aminu Masari made the observation at Daura, while fielding questions from newsmen after witnessing the conduct of the congress there. He emphasised that his visit to the home of the President was to see for himself the level of compliance in respect of the consensus mode earlier agreed for the conduct of the exercise.
Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari who was also in Kafur his local government area of origin, appreciated the cooperation of the party stakeholders which made it possible for the emergence of Alhaji Sadi Isiyaku as the new chairman of the party in the area.
While commenting, the head of the Local Government congresses committee sent from the headquarters of the party, Honourable Ali Kumo, stated that the turnout of party faithfuls during the congresses, proves how they the party enjoys unmeasurable support at the grassroots. Adding that his committee did not receive any complaint from any of the local governments in the state.
Affirming that the party still maintains it’s status as the leading and most popular party in the country.
