Federal Mortgage Bank Builds Over 1000 Houses In Katsina State
The federal government through the federal mortgage bank, has built 1,358 houses in Katsina state from 2017 to date.
The Managing Director of the Federal Mortgage Bank, Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, disclosed this Monday morning during a one day sensitization workshop on National Housing Fund Scheme for National Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Katsina state.
Dangiwa said the houses were constructed in the three senatorial zones of the state, Katsina, Daura and Funtua zones.
According to Dangiwa, over 5000 people have benefitted with Federal home renovation loan program in katsina state.
Also speaking, the President Nigerian Union of Employees Katsina state chapter Comrade Nasiru Wada Mai’adua appreciated the Federal motgage bank will to improve the well being of local government employees.
The President appreciated the Bank for recognizing NULGE as a critical stakeholder in the drive to achieve the desired goal.
The event was attended by local government employees and executive members of the various chapter in the state
