Mahdi Shehu to be arraigned in 2 courts tomorrow
Mahdi Shehu, the Katsina State’s born self acclaimed whistleblower is going to be arranged before two courts for the continuation of his case against the Katsina State Government and Secretary to the Government of the State, Alhaji Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa before them tomorrow, Monday, 28th June, 2021.
The courts Mahdi Shehu is to be arraigned are the Federal High Court in Kano State and Katsina State High Court in Katsina.
The accused was dragged before the Federal High Court by the Katsina State Government over some charges bordering Cybercrime act and for allegedly making several publications on his Facebook account and granted an interview with Television and radio stations where he accused the sitting governor and people of Katsina State of embezzling the public funds.
He was later arraigned in March, 2021 and secured a N10m bail.
Mr Mahdi also has another court case before the Shari’a Court of Appeal in Katsina State where the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Mustapha Inuwa dragged him for alleged character defamation.
