Bandits place N10m levy on Katsina community to prevent further attacks
Sequel to the attack on Kakumi village in Bakori local government area of Katsina state, the bandits have directed the community to provide N10 million as protection money from further attacks, Blueinknews, an online media based in Katsina reports.
The dare devil bandits send their request via a phone number they seized during yesterday’s attack on the village.
A community leader in the area who spoke with the blueinknews on condition of anonymity said the bandits made it clear that it was the payment of this huge amount of money that will make them stop attacking the village.
It could be recalled that yesterday Friday around 7:00pm bandits attack Kakumi village in Bakori local government area of Katsina state where they killed three people and injured many.
