Live Update: Mahdi Shehu VS Katsina SGS at Dutsin-ma High Court
There is currently a sense of confusion and suspense in the minds of many people in Katsina State as two courts want whistleblower, Mahdi Shehu to appear before them today.
The courts, Katsina Post learnt are the Federal High Court in Katsina and a High Court in Dutsin-ma.
Mahdi Shehu was dragged to the State High Court by the Secretary to the Government of the State, Alhaji Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa.
Today’s court case is an appeal case by the Appellant challenging the jurisdiction of the lower court who ordered for his arrest.
The Appellant is absent in person but is being represented in the court by his counsels while the respondent and his counsel were both present in the court.

10:50am – Debates are ongoing between the Appellant and the respondents counsels.
