Katsina Gov’t Construct New Headquarters for State Revenue Board
The Katsina State Governor, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari has inspected the Newly Constructed Headquarters of the State Board of Internal Revenue along Katsina-Kano Road in the Metropolis.
Katsina Post learnt that the project was constructed at the sum of over 607 million naira through direct saving of ten percent of internally generated funds.
KTTV Government House Correspondent Safiyanu Musa reports that, the Governor paid the Inspection Visit alongside the Secretary to the Government of the State, Alhaji Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa and other Government Officials.
The Governor was conducted round various sections of the New Edifice by the Project Consultant, Architect Kabir Kebrum the Chairman of State Board of Internal Revenue and other Management Staff of the Board.
The New Headquarters of the State Board of Internal Revenue has seven Departments to include Audit, Data Collection, Planning and Research, Road Taxes, Finance and Administration among others.
The Construction of the New Headquarters of the State Board of Internal Revenue is part of the State Government commitment towards improving the services of Revenue Collection Agency for effective service delivery.
While Inspecting the Project, Governor Masari expressed satisfaction on the work so far executed.
Governor Masari directed the Contractor to construct additional fence at the eastern part of the building to prevent Land Encroachment.
