Katsina gov’t provides land for new layout mega city behind UMYUK
Katsina State Government says it will establish more residential layouts for the development of the State and expansion of the State Capital.
The Commissioner of Lands and Survey Alhaji Usman Nadada confirmed this while inspecting the ongoing construction of access road in the proposed layout areas behind Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina, UMYUK.
The visit was meant to monitor the progress of the road construction for the proposed layout.
Addressing newsmen during the visit, the Commissioner said the aim of constructing the road was to ensure speedy progress of the proposed site.
Alhaji Usman Nadada disclosed that the over one hundred hectres of land will be provided with all the required facilities for its speedy development.
According to him, the State Government has already invited two estate development companies who will construct Houses at the Site.
This is in addition to the provision of plots to the staff of UMYU and Doctors as well as some individuals and corporate organizations and Labour Unions.
While appreciating the progress of the road construction, Alhaji Usman Nadada called on the personnel handling the work to ensure its timely completion for the commencement of buildings at the Site.
