Mother dumped newborn baby with a note in Daura
The residents of Unguwar Amare, an outskirt residential area in Daura town woke up to a disturbing news of a newborn baby girl that was dumped by her mother yesterday night.
Katsina Post learnt that the baby who was gotten outside wedlock was also dumped with a note allegedly written by the mother.
In the note, the alleged mother pleaded with who ever found the daughter whom she named Barira to take good care of her.
She also expressed her regret over the action she took alleging that she was deceived by an unnamed person who impregnated her and dumped her after he promised to marry her.
The baby was taken to the police station by the good samaritans who found her and later to the hospital.
