Supreme Court rules on Katsina dissolved LGAs Chairmen case on May 7th
The Supreme Court has today reserved 7th May, 2021 for the ruling on the dissolved Katsina Local Governments Chairmen and councilors by the Katsina State Government sometimes in 2015.
At today’s sitting, the presiding judges heard arguments from the lawyers of both the two parties.
The court also merged all the three cases before it concerning the matter.
The court then reserved 7th May for its ruling on the case.
Recall that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Katsina State dragged the Katsina State government to court over what it called illegal dissolution of elected LGAs Chairmen and councilors.
