Katsina Community Gets Conflict, Dispute Resolution Centre
The Katsina State Chief Judge, Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar has Commissioned a Community Conflict and Dispute Resolution Centre at Dandagoro Community in Batagarawa Local Government Area of Katsina State.
Justice Musa Danladi also lead other stakeholders during the commissioning in a one-day workshop to the community on community conflict and dispute resolution.
The Chief Judge Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar described the occasion as another Milestone towards the development of the Judiciary and Humanity in General.
Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar said the center was established to assist the Community in resolving minor dispute amicably without intemperance of Court and other third party.
The Chief Judge pointed out that the establishment of such Centres becomes imperative in view of their importance towards promoting peace and harmony in the society.
Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar expressed concern over the non chalant attitude of some traditional and community leaders for renting Houses to strangers without conducting necessary investigation.
The Chief Registrar of the State High Court Barrister Kabir Sha’aibu said the Dandagoro Community Conflict and Dispute Resolution Centre is the third of its kinds after the ones at Kwado and Central Market.
