Just In: Union Announces Closure Of Katsina Central Market
The Executive management of the Katsina Central Market Association has announced the closure of the market for two (2) days to allow for the ongoing road construction work in the market.
This was disclosed to newsmen in Katsina by the Assistant Organizing Secretary of the Association, Alhaji Kabir Bala.
According to him, the market will be close from Monday 18th to Wednesday 20th January, 2021.
“The closure of the market is to allow the smooth work of asphalting the roads network in the market ongoing now.
“Before, we intended to invite security operatives to ensure orderly conduct of the market customers but we felt that it would be better if the market is closed for a limited time”, he said.
Kabir Bala also call for general public understanding and enjoined them to exercise patient within the time period.
Recall that the Katsina State Roads Maintenance Agency is currently undergoing road construction in the central market.
